Tuesday at SacInteractive -- Unity3D!

October 13, 2014

This Tuesday (tomorrow) night at SacInteractive, Jon Nutting will be giving his "Welcome to the World of Interactive 3D Gaming" preso. Details are like so:

Welcome to the world of interactive 3D gaming. Jon Nutting, new-media specialist and adjunct instructor at Ai Sacramento, will be giving an overview of how to get started using Unity 3D -- an amazing and easy-to-use game engine.

First, Jon will quickly demo how to create a simple 3D model in Blender 3D and import it into Unity. Next, he will show off some of the built-in goodness Unity has to offer (i.e. landscape generation tools, etc.). Finally, Jon will show how easy it is to add interactivity to the game objects via JavaScript. It may be too much to promise that during this presentation there will be much joy and laughter throughout the land, but chances are good that Jon will at least make you crack a smile while you learn.
