My Into The Box 2017 Schedule

This week is the Into The Box conference in Houston. Like previous years, it’s run by the fine folks at Ortus Solutions.  Unlike previous years, the conference is now in Texas, and has expanded to 2 days, plus an additional day of pre-conference training.  

Brief reminder: though the conference is run by “the ColdBox people”, much of the content is <em>not</em> ColdBox specific. There is a great mix of general content as well as topics related to Box products.

I’ll be giving a variation of my talk “Dependency Injection, Why Is It Awesome and Why Should I Care?”.  Usually this talk is framework agnostic: all the code samples are quasi-generic pseudo-code so you can follow the concepts but not have to worry about the syntax being for a different library from what you personally use. Into The Box asked that I include some WireBox code samples this time so we’ll be getting a little of both - the slides are still pseudocode, and there will be some demos that include real working WireBox code so you can see how to implement that as well.
